After several conflicting news reports on Thursday and much confusion from family and friends, it has been confirmed that iconic boxer trainer Emanuel Stewart has passed at the age of 68. Stewart died while recovering from surgery related to stomach issues. The boxing legend trained and mentored boxing greats like Thomas “Hitman” Hearns, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray Leonard and Steve McCrory to name a few.
