Sidelined NFL player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson (pictured) recently opened up about how his off-the-field mistakes on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL.”

As the former Miami Dolphins wide receiver sat down with the show’s hosts, James Brown and Chris Collinsworth, this week Johnson appeared to want to lay his cards on the table and offer an interview that was honest and heartfelt about his tumultuous time with ex-wife Evelyn Lozada.
Admitting to past mistakes and their consequences, Johnson said:
“When you get a humble Chad Johnson that has lost everything and has to work his way back up, that’s a big deal,” admitted Johnson. “Because you’re not getting that same individual, you’re not getting that same fun guy…. I gotta prove a point. That’s the scariest thing in the world to have someone that has that drive.”
On being forced to take anger management classes, Johnson said, “I’m taking classes, anger management classes. I’m trying to find out how can I channel my anger when I’m in situations to where I would pop off? How can I defuse those situations?”
