Suicide: Black Men Suffer in Silence, One Man’s Goal To Raise Awareness

Wendell Tucker a Chicago theater artist has launched an awareness campaign for black men who suffer in silence with depression and thoughts of  suicide. Tucker knows first hand, he tried twice to commit suicide and failed.

Did you know; suicide is the third most common cause of death in African American males ages 15-24 behind homicide and accidents and that African- American men are five times more likely to commit suicide than African American women according to the AAS.
