MSNBC Host Melissa Harris Perry’s Home Destroyed By Hurricane ISAAC

The strange coincidence of Hurricane Issac rolling onto the Gulf Shore exactly 7  years to the day that Katrina devastated the levees and flooded New Orleans is one thing.  Who knew that Issac a category 1 Hurricane  would bring more rain than Katrina. The rebuilt levees worked but that wasn’t the issue this time. MSNBC Host Melissa Harris Perry, tweeted yesterday that her fixer-upper had been destroyed by the storm. The Tulane Professor’s  home was a symbol of hope and recovery after Katrina only to be brought down by Hurricane Issac’s wind. Read the story here
