Sadé Goldsmith (pictured) 26, and her two young boys, John Devine, Jr., 6 (pictured left), and Jon ‘Tee Devine, 5 (pictured right), were shot dead Sunday morning by the children’s father.
The children’s father John Devine (pictured), 36, reportedly confessed to authorities that he forced his way in to Goldsmith’s home 
and shot her to death. She was 26. Then he shot his two boys while they were sleeping. Afterward, Devine shot himself in the chest but survived the wound and is recovering at University Hospital in Louisville.
After Devine confessed about the triple murder to police, they charged him with three counts of murder and one of count burglary.
The children were last spotted by neighbors playing outside of their home on Friday, then again on Saturday, when they were reportedly helping their mom wash her car. Goldsmith’s home alarm went off and alerted police who came to investigate and discovered the bodies
