An Ohio jury found ex-Bengals and Broncos Nate Webster guilty on Wednesday of four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with his former assistant coach’s 15-year-old daughter back in 2009. The jurors also found the 34-year-old guilty of three other charges: gross sexual imposition, sexual battery, and a fifth count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, reports NBC Sports.

According to Weber’s attorney Gregory Samms, the minor lied about her age when she began having sexual relations with the NFL player at the time. Prosecutors argued, however, that Webster himself told authorities that the child was 15, when they began engaging in sexual intercourse. Unfortunately for Weber, those very same interviews were played during the trial. Yet the former linebacker claims he had sex with the girl but contended that it was consensual and that the sexual relationship began after she turned 16, which is the age of consent in Ohio.
