Jury Selected In Jennifer Hudson Family Murder Trial

The jury has been selected in Chicago for the trial of Jennifer Hudson’s brother-in-law, who is accused killing the Oscar-winner’s mother, brother, and nephew. A total of 14 jurors will be seated (twelve  main and two alternates) and will hear the case against 30-year-old, William Balfour, the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson’s sister. The jury selection process was affected by Hudson’s star power and many were dismissed, citing they were huge fans of the singer/actress.
