When The Checks Stop Coming: NFL’s Warren Sapp Files Bankruptcy

Former NFL star Warren Sapp is broke as a joke and has filed for bankruptcy in Florida, reports TMZ.

The 1999 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, who has made a truckload of money during a career that has spanned over 13 seasons, has racked up $6.7 million in debt that include creditors, child support payments to his baby mommas, medical bills and alimony.  The 39-year-old also has to settle his whopping tab with the IRS, which has accumulated to a whopping $942,000.
